Carrier Selection Criteria

At Focus Logistics our carrier selection process is strict.

For a transport carrier to be considered an approved supplier for Focus Logistics they must first submit:

• Proof of Insurance
• Operating Authorities
• Safety History
• Customer References
• Other Information

Some of our accounts request submission of some of these items prior to our dispatching equipment. Naturally, we are most willing to meet this request!

Our carrier base is unlimited.... We have the on-line technology to identify the right carrier for each particular shipment. Our "in-house" preferred carriers are represented by over 500 companies. This provides Focus Logistics access to all types of equipment, for all types of shipments.

In today's hectic traffic department, employees often do not have the necessary time to mandate the most competitive and properly accredited carrier for every shipment. Focus' strict supplier policies combined with open-ended access to available carriers proves a winner where it counts... for our customers!
